Pretzel bun, sauerkraut, caramelized onions, extra Swiss cheese, Bavarian sweet mustard--skip the ham. The most amazing and comforting meal for fall. Yum!

I love the hamburgers from Roam! I do not eat that many hamburgers so when I do it needs to be worth it and these certainly are. Good buns, good meat and good condiments!

Roam has been my favorite burger in the city for so many years, and I can't believe I've never written a review! This is me and my dad's favorite lunch to get when my mom isn't home lol. The ingredients are always so fresh and tasty, and I like how there are a variety of customization options (protein, buns, pink/no pink, no tomato, etc.) so my pickiness feels more normalized. I'm a creature of habit, so I always order the heritage burger with a beef patty and a classic sesame bun. The beef is always so juicy and tasty, and the bacon is pretty substantial - not as thick as millionaire's bacon but not as thin and crispy as hotel breakfast bacon. The flavors of cheese, caramelized onions, and aioli blend so well together, and the bun is light and airy. My dad will usually rotate through a selection of burgers, including the sunny side, French n fries, and the tejano. If we're feeling extra snackish, we'll also get the fryfecta that comes with regular potato fries, sweet potatoes fries, and zucchini fries. Since the pandemic, we typically order takeout but the food is still warm and fresh by the time we get home because we live in the area. The food is always ready on time, and the staff are friendly when we go to pick up. Sometimes you'll have to ask for condiments though - I think they don't freely offer it to reduce waste. It's a pretty casual environment for those dining in, and often you'll see families in there after the kids get picked up from school. Prices have definitely gone up and the burgers are slightly smaller than they used to be, but the quality has remained and it's still a very hearty portion so you won't leave hungry. Despite the shrinkflation, I still love roam burgers!

We had a great bartender:waiter he said his name was Shaderk(may have spelled that wrong) he was very knowledgeable and made the experience there the best. The food was great burgers as well especially the zucchini fries and veggie burger. If in the city go visit Shaderk and grab an amazing burger

I'm still dreaming about the burger I had at this restaurant! The veggie beet patty was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. But what really took it to the next level was the layer of crispy chips on top - it added a satisfying crunch and texture. And let's not forget the sweet potato fries, which were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Service was also top-notch Can't wait to come back!

The food was great, the milkshake was not. Especially with such good ice cream offerings nearby it was not worth it. But the burgers- excellent. The French n fries has Brie, avocado, arugula, mustard, and onions and really was so tasty. The creamy cheese and avocado are counter balanced by the peppery arugula and mustard. I loved it but it was so rich and filling I couldn't finish it! The Brussels sprouts were also surprisingly excellent.

A friend recommended we stop in. As we walked along the hilly streets it blended in with the housing. Had to do a double take to make sure we were going the right way. At last! We made it. Well organized and clean. Had a sort of modern mason jars and milk tins vibe. Friendly service welcomed us as we ordered. The day was too beautiful to sit indoors. Opted for the patio tables outside to enjoy the sun and gentle breeze. Uh ya.. this place is really good! Perfectly toasted bun with those airy pops of sesame. Melty cheese and caramelized onions. The arugula gave a balance of earthy pepper. Burger was not over cooked had a nice char still holding the juices. The onion zucchini haystacks were addicting. So light it sort of melts in your mouth. Will definitely make this a regular stop when in San Francisco. First visit success!

Service was quick, attentive and friendly. Noticing that I am injured and with limited mobility, the guy at the front promptly greeted me, sat me at a table instead of having me wait to order standing in line as is customary. I came for the burgers but seriously was impressed by their Brussel sprouts. They sautee them in what I suspect is soy sauce, red wine vinegar and garlic. So fucking bomb! The sweet potato fries were not too salty and seasoned with fresh parsley. The ranch dip is a must & clearly made in house. As for the burgers. I got the Pacific Bleu & my lady got a Classic to get a baseline. They may look small in pictures and in your hands, but man do they pack a punch. Real angus beef. Real fresh ingredients. You know when you take a bite and the lettuce is so crisp that it crunches? Yeah, it was like that, but with melty cheese and meat juice dripping. Mmmm...Yummy. As a blue cheese lover, I wish the cheese was a bit more pungent to really give it that kick but otherwise, superb! They had a delicious Hazy IPA by Bare Bottle Brewing of which I am a huge fan. All in all 10/10 & I will be back soon!
